Moana Project Reflections Video

The Moana Project is wrapping up an incredible 5 years of transdisciplinary research by more than 60 researchers Aotearoa New Zealand-wide , and we're thrilled to share a film reflecting on that time with you! Join us as we reflect on the highlights of this nation-wide research project, exploring how cross-cultural knowledge exchange, ocean forecasting, connectivity, and how insights into the ocean ecosystem can contribute to marine planning.

During the final Moana Project hui in September 2023, we looked back on 5-years of the Moana Project. Rather than try to sum it up here, have a watch and hear what the Moana Project means to many of those involved, especially iwi partner Whakatōhea, in their own words.
