A trained geologist turned science communicator, there is little in the science space that Naomi doesn’t enjoy.
Completing a BSc in Earth Science and Geography at Massey University, followed by a Masters of Science in Society at Victoria University of Wellington Naomi is passionate about science that is accessible and useful to the communities that need it most.
Previously, Naomi worked at the Science Media Centre covering the eruption of Whakaari, the initial stages of COVID-19, the Australian bushfires, and many other pivotal events throughout 2019/2020.
In the Moana Project, Naomi provides project management support and manages the projects communications.
