Dr Malene Felsing

MetOcean Solutions, Moana Project, Project Manager

Malene worked as a journalist in her native Denmark before turning to science when her interest in scuba diving led her to study Marine Biology.

Malene did her BSc at Southampton University in the UK, and later moved to Australia to do her PhD investigating the environmental impacts of aquaculture. Since completing her PhD in 2003 and prior to coming to MetOcean Solutions, Malene worked for local government in New Zealand, where she has been involved with policy and management of coastal resources.
Malene is the Moana Project Manager and team lead of the Whai Hua project workstream.
