A life-long nature lover, Katherine worked with WWF for 17 years globally fostering healthy and well-managed fisheries. Returning home to New Zealand in 2011 she completed a Masters in natural capital and ecosystem services. Established in 2013 she is a Partner in Terra Moana Ltd (TML) with Tony Craig.

TML bridges, weaves and designs sustainable solutions with leading primary industry businesses and community initiatives, specialising in marine conservation, and sustainable fisheries and seafood, particularly with indigenous communities. Both Tony and Katherine have a deep commitment to the well-being of those working in the seafood sector as businesses that care for people are more likely to also care for the planet.

Katherine was recently WWFNZ’s first Emerging Director, co-founded Gecko NZ Trust, and is a Leadership NZ Alumnus, a Fish4all investor and shareholder, and a trained Regenesis Practitioner.
