Calvin Quigley

Calvin received his BSc at Brigham Young University, where he helped lead projects studying population genetics of bonefish (Albula spp) and ecological impacts of indigenous aquaculture methods on Molokai, Hawaii.
He spent time as an intern at the CRIOBE marine station on Moorea, French Polynesia, studying behavioural and physiological aspects of niche partitioning in sand goby species (F. neophytus and G. cauerensis). His PhD project revolves around identifying impacts of oceanography on larval dispersement and genetic connectivity in abalone, Greenshell mussel, and rock lobster fisheries in New Zealand.
